Strict Citrus DietCitrus diet is one of the most recognized and capable of all the fruit diets. For its observance you will require will power and endurance, but the results will really surprise you. What are the benefits of a citrus diet?

Also, something worth noting, if you include in your daily diet fruits such as orange,s tangerines, limes and grapefruit, you can drop those extra pounds even without resorting to this diet. Sample menu for the day

Menu for the day will look like this:
Morning: glass of freshly squeezed juice (orange, grapefruit);
Lunch: one grapefruit and two kiwi;

-During the citrus diet should always drink herbal or green tea (which contribute to weight loss), the water can be a lemon.

Citrus fruits are known contains fruit acids which stimulate the breakdown of fat. This will allow you not to engage in physical exercise. The excess pounds will start to leave after about 3 days. And it gives the necessary stimulus for its further maintenance. The cooking of meals during the diet is reduced to almost zero. In citrus, except acids also contain vitamins and other useful items that have a beneficial effect on the metabolic processes in the body.


Rapid weight loss can be harmful in two cases: if you weight initially was large it threatens the appearance or stretch marks on the skin that is not so easy to remove. Also,  after the end of citrus diet is a risk return at least half of the weight. So when coming out of the diet,  be careful and take care of the body. Citrus fruits are also  low in calories, so you may experience fatigue and headaches.
